Grand Prize Winner in 2008 LASR Short Story Competition

July 2008 -- Best-selling author, Valerie J. Patterson, added to her career portfolio today by winning the Grand Prize in the 2008 LASR Short Story Competition.

Patterson's entry entitled Send in the Clowns was judged best over all in eight categories garnering her the highest combined score to win the Grand Prize.

Judging categories includedóCharacterization, Plot/Pacing, Dialogue/Narrative, Romantic Elements, and Writing Style.
